The aim here is to show how Piera Aulagnier’s concepts influenced my approach to treating psychotic patients, without becoming the sole reference. Her contribution has served to shed light on words that are too quickly dismissed as “without reason,” even though they sometimes reveal the prehistory at work in the background, a prehistory that predetermines what’s to come and which it is forbidden to speak and think about, and that delirium attempts to express.

Il s’agit ici de montrer quel a été, pour moi, l’apport et l’influence des conceptions de Piera Aulagnier dans ma pratique avec les patients psychotiques, sans en faire une référence unique. Mais cet apport a fonctionné comme un véritable éclairage quant à des paroles trop vites écartées comme « sans raisons » alors qu’elles dévoilent parfois la préhistoire au travail en arrière-plan, préhistoire prédéterminant la suite et interdite à dire et penser, et que le délire tente d’élaborer.
