This article provides some answers regarding the definition of the Lebanese war of 1975 to 1990. This is without a doubt a civil war because it opposes civilians who took up arms, but taking a step back, it turns out that this conflict does not resume into a “simple” civil war since large surrounding nations such as Syria or Israel have handled the various actors of the Lebanese conflict in favour of their personal interests.
