Assessing human-robot collaboration for the preparation of injectable anticancer drugs through the validation of a technology acceptance model questionnaire

Par : Contributeur(s) : Type de matériel : TexteTexteLangue : français Détails de publication : 2025. Ressources en ligne : Abrégé : Integrating robotic technologies into hospital pharmacies, particularly for the sterile compounding of injectable anticancer drugs, is a complex endeavor that requires close human-robot collaboration, or cobotics. The objective of this project was to develop and validate an evaluation tool for assessing human-robot collaboration within a hospital pharmacy team. Prior to the implementation of the robot in our center, focus groups were coordinated to gauge the perceptions, concerns, and expectations of the hospital staff. Subsequently, a technology acceptance model was employed to evaluate this transition, which included a validated French survey tool. Our results demonstrated a statistically robust correlation between the behavioral intention to use the robot and its perceived usefulness and ease of use. This project highlights the importance of properly preparing for the introduction of innovative technologies, such as robotization, and of providing a validated evaluation tool to objectively assess human-robot collaboration.
