Antonio Labriola faced the matter of Marx’s philosophy without reducing it to a historical determinism, without making a teleology of it. Theoretical moment in the production of the artificial ground, related to sciences but distinct from them, philosophy is a product of praxis — unit of action and production — and is itself praxis, work of correction of the concepts, critical-historical gnoseology which takes up its connection with the movements of reality.
