Faced with different environments, companies are participating in processes which produce new territories. The first part of the paper will be focused on local risks resulting from companies, (both inner and outer) environments. In a second part, it will discuss how foresight networks help companies challenge frontiers between these different environments to anticipe or create strategic irreversibilities related to changing territories and areas. Finally a case study will show how public utilities are using such an approach to face both global and local risks.
