It draws on the theory of planned behavior (Ajzen 1991) and entrepreneurial theory (Covin and Slevin 1989; Lumpkin and Dess 1996) and is based on a survey of seven Belgian SME owner-managers. It will enable us to confirm the relevance of a set of propositions regarding the determinants of long-term intention.
