Abrégé : This paper pays tribute to Vica Shentoub for having proposed a consistent theoretical model of the TAT. It examines the notion of communicability which she considers as a requirement of the test. This notion is examined from several viewpoints : the spoken language by both examiner and examinee, the training of the examiner, the particularities of the subject’s speech, the content and the themes of the stories. The case of a character disorder is discussed.
