Le travail clinique avec certains patients états-limites ouvre des perspectives d’élaboration dans lesquelles le corps fantasmé, le corps réel, peut envahir, soudainement, le transfert et le contre-transfert. Le corps parfois mutilé par la scarification, abîmé par les tentatives de suicide se montre, se donne trop à voir. La prise en charge de patients dont le corps est sur le devant de la scène, tant réellement que dans le système de représentance, peut prendre donc la forme d’un combat de corps, en tant que représentation de la relation en face-à-face, d’inconscient à inconscient, entre le patient et le thérapeute. Mais le corps à corps va au-delà de la rencontre, il va jusqu’à la création d’un troisième corps, un corps hybride, un corps « chimère » à la frontière entre Inconscient et Préconscient, au sens où l’entend Michel de M’Uzan.
