The Child Lost among Fathers and Mothers
Type de matériel :
3
The adopted child battles against a situation that through crossing biological filiation and adoptive filiation calls up a dual network of parenthood. How then on the level of the imagination can the dialogue between these plural parental figures be organised? More precisely, between “fathers” and “mothers” how can the adopted child handle the question of origins and build his or her family story? The clinical example of Léa sheds light on how, when the real-life story becomes something that can be told, it allows for a conciliation of those multiple parental figures and allows for reconciliation with the principle of continuity that underlies identity.
