The Question of Limits in Interactions between Families and Institutions about Adolescents
Type de matériel :
TexteLangue : français Détails de publication : 2008.
Sujet(s) : Ressources en ligne : Abrégé : Based on a clinical context that combined a family struggling with adolescence and two institutions, this paper examines the interactions between families and institutions, specifically the psychical data activated during collaborative treatment in a network. The analysis of this clinical case reveals bridges between the two institutions in terms of the psychodramatic production of family data for the purposes of elaboration and symbolization. Ideological divides, feelings of infringement, and the limits and skills of each professional will be put to a difficult test. The conflicts and misunderstandings this situation may create run the risk of not being heard from the perspective of counter-transference because they damage the professional narcissism of each party, often leading to ideological entrenchment and the reification of each other’s stances. The author of this paper suggests establishing an a priori methodology in order to ensure that the interactions between institutions are viewed as tools to foster family transmission, particularly in adolescence when the question of limits and the law surges to the forefront.
