Type de matériel :
50
Prompted by the issues of young people’s participation in public space, this article based on a re-reading of contemporary and recent studies aims to examine the recreational uses and play-based sports of the street, from the viewpoint of youth cultures, informal sociability, the deliberative situation and urban play. How do these young city-dwellers perceive the public space in practice ? What particular representations intervene in the construction of deliberative practices ? What knowledge gained within the practising groups plays a part in forging play-based urban public spaces ? Finally, what do we learn today from the sociological comprehension of these sometimes alternative youth sports cultures ?
