Some teens make us see and hear, sometimes undergo a noisy symptomatology defying any authority, challenging many professionals in education and even psychiatry. It seems that their stories have in common a “failed” separation, an impossible mourning of the forever lost luster of enjoyment where the issue of inclusion of the metaphor of the signifier the Name-of-the – Father is seriously raised, with access to the Other and to the law being very limited. This time of adolescence seems to awaken a primal distress. We have to think of a support that can facilitate the transition to adulthood, work that we have to pursue to avoid a psychopathological drift that may become irreversible.
