From a psychoanalytic perspective, we have tried to understand the psychic issues involved in an intrafamilial sexual assault committed by an adolescent. Based on a clinical situation followed clinically and educationally for several years, we have identified the different sequences that lead up to the moment of acting out: the incestual dimension in the family behind a situation of pseudo-normality, the raw transmission of traumatic facts that have not been elaborated, the function of acting out as a regulator of instinctual drive excitation that is difficult to channel, the amplification of depressive anxieties of separation, the attack on the rival brother with the aim of narcissistic restoration. The perspective of this article is also to propose therapeutic modalities that can be offered to the adolescent and family in order to work on the intrapsychic dimension and intersubjectivity.
