Whilst in France, 110,000 young people leave the school system every year without a diploma, some of them chose after a few months or several years to “step back into the fold”, in other words to go back into training or education. If the process leading to people dropping out of school is now well-documented, little information exists on the process which leads people to go back into education or training.
