82
The queer question and the debates it provokes in the psychoanalytic field, as well as the exchanges with gender theory, require a return to the theory of identity, which is conspicuous by its absence in the Freudian field. Hence the need to designate everything that motivates identity illusions from Lacan’s point of view: the prominence of the ego and the phantasm, which are two formations whose power should be weakened by the psychoanalytic experience with neurotic subjects, whether queer or not.
