In a changing and competitive organizational environment, the use of groupware tools seems to rely on the convergence of the communication allowed by these tools and the relational strategies necessary to develop trust. Consequently, computer supported collaborative practices would depend on this logic of use. An empirical research realised in firms and in research centres in Silicon Valley tends to confirm these hypotheses.
