Will there be faith ? It all depends… Jesus’ question, “will there be faith on earth?” seems all the more urgent in our postmodern era and culture. This essay proposes that “it all depends” – on what faith we teach and how we teach it. In response to what faith, it urges the centrality of Jesus Christ in the midst of a comprehensive catechesis, not to be taken for granted by Catholic Christians. As to how, it suggests that we have much to learn from Jesus’ own pedagogy as evident in the Gospels; this is summarized as a life to faith to life approach.
