The secret protocols of the 1939 German-Soviet Pact, totally obscured in the USSR, integrated the Western ideological arsenal into the new confrontational space of the Cold War in the post-war period. The Baltic emigrant communities, which contributed significantly to the collections of La contemporaine on the subject, gave a variable place to these protocols in their own arguments from the 1950s to 1989.
