In the beginning, there were more than One. But one did not know it yet. It is impossible to know, ahead of time, and even retrospectively, what common charges can be carried by the multiplicity of beings gathered within a shared space. One can only speculate: the conceptualisation of a community always calls for a metaphysics, i.e., a science of imaginary variations submitted to the principle of Reason. Let us bet on the liveliness of adventurous coalitions.
