Autonomous Cars and their Moral Implications
Type de matériel :

This paper argues that autonomous cars are social robots which must act as moral proxies for their human owners. To avoid the unacceptable removal of moral choices from human users of these technologies, we could program the vehicles to act in accordance with different moral theories and allow their owners to select their preferred behaviour. The paper also considers ethical implications of other practical concerns surrounding autonomous car technology.
