This article is about mobilizing against the false acknowledgment that the artwork disappears with its substance, the case of artwork whose mode of existence can only be retrieved from the information media, after the fact. That puts the spectator on the track of an art under media coverage and brings them closer to cultural activism. The merge of art with activism– which is called artivism–leads one to speak of the fading, instead of the disappearance, of the artwork.
