In this article, the author attempts to highlight the specifically psychosociological contributions of Eugène Enriquez’s work. He highlights his remarkable effort to update a psychosociological paradigm, the theoretical approach to psychosocial processes and the meta-theoretical approach to the anthropological and sociological framework of intervention. He examines E. Enriquez’s three-dimensional theory of organized systems, his major interest in structures, and discusses his model of seven “instances,” which can be mobilized in the analysis of psychosociological processes, as well as its limitations in natural groups. Finally, the authors look at the role of individual and collective “creators of history,” with a particular focus on Enriquez’s contribution to the history of psychosociology.
