Scars and other skin’s marks appear currently in the rugby women life. This kind of bodies’ marks, which could be stigmatized, are proves of physical engagement in this war game. They are signs of the practice, and allow a different way to (explore) their body and their team. Interviews and observations in two French associations show the different ways to interpret and to manage these signs, which are sometimes difficult to live outside the play-ground. It shows the identity negotiation of the body, and of a male sport practiced by women.
