Narcissistic Cathexes and Projection in Treatment
Type de matériel :
63
The clinical practice to which reference was made during the conference demonstrated that intense narcissistic cathexes -jealousy, paranoia and homosexuality- allow a projective approach to inaccessible material of the history in the treatment. These mechanisms tie in with those of the acted-out repetition of the transference addressed in?1915, through various objects that recall those of the?1922 article. Their binding to the transference by the analyst allows them to be elaborated secondarily in the representative register. The access to a functioning in identity of thought and the clearing of the specular register reveal the newly possible installation of a classical treatment process.
