Psychoanalysis in China and the Issues of Long-Distance Analysis
Type de matériel :

The development of psychoanalysis in China over the last few decades has illustrated the problem of cultural differences between the West and Chinese thought. As a country divided between ancient tradition and an outstanding modernity, China has opened up to mental health issues and given a role to psychoanalysis. After a period of familiarisation with psychoanalytic psychotherapy, some Chinese colleagues have embarked on psychoanalytic training with support from the ipa. This undertaking in psychoanalytic training raises the problem of long-distance analysis, namely telephone or Skype analysis.
