“Health, vulnerability, and territories,” a chair in the Hauts-de-France region

Par : Type de matériel : TexteTexteLangue : français Détails de publication : 2024. Ressources en ligne : Abrégé : In 2024, the UFR3S (Health and sports sciences faculty), Sciences Po Lille, and the regional health agency of the Hauts-de-France created a new chair: the “Health, vulnerability, and territories” chair, to design, develop, and implement innovative health solutions, particularly regarding social and territorial health inequalities. The chair aims to bring together the academic worlds of expertise and research, health management, and health care professionals. The three terms—health, vulnerability, and territories—symbolize the chair’s deliberately holistic approach, promoting a multidisciplinary dimension, particularly toward the human and social sciences, and focusing on acting in proximity to the places where people live (territories) and addressing health vulnerability factors. The chair’s inaugural conference took place on October 14, 2024. The text below summarizes its key points.
