What is the value of objects of memory? How do they structure the imaginary of a city? Through a proposition of a social phenomenology, we will show how the rooting of memory, embodied in the object, leads to a reflection on forms of inhabiting the everyday space and cultural practices, while at the same time building a historiographical analysis.
