Arne Dahl is considered today as their real heir, and his series of ten novels on the expert group called the “A-group” is a postmodern collective novel of great quality. Dahl combines a demanding art of plotting with an acerbic critique of society, a psychological depth not without humor, and a writing which has great artistic elegance.
