Une révolution médicale a eu lieu. Le système de soins repose sur trois piliers : mise en place d’un système contractuel entre malade et médecin, principe de transparence, principe de démocratie sanitaire. Le nouveau malade, acteur de sa maladie, soumis à des instructions rigides, privé de transfert affectif face à des médecins interchangeables. Le nouveau médecin, dans une solitude souffrante, être humain, ne sait que faire de ses affects devant les drames qu’il annonce et côtoie. Notre si belle médecine, si compétente, est en quête d’une humanité perdue. Peut-elle la retrouver et comment ?

A medical revolution has taken place. The system of care rests on three pillars: the implementation of a contractual system between a sick person and a doctor; the principle of transparency; and the principle of health democracy.The new sick person is an actor in his/her own illness, subject to strict instructions, deprived of affective transfer in the face of interchangeable doctors.The new doctor, suffering in solitude, a human being, does not know what to make of his/her affects in the face of the tragedies that s/he diagnoses and interacts with. Our wonderful medicine, so competent at what it does, is in search of a lost humanity. Can it rediscover this humanity and, if so, how?
