La psychanalyse s’expose sous une multitude de titres ou de noms : l’inconscient, l’amour, l’imaginaire, le symbolique, le réel, etc. ; elle ne fonctionne cependant que dans le verbe et le mouvement cachés derrière et dans ces noms. Le titre du séminaire XXIV de Lacan indique ce que le séminaire lui-même propose : faire passer d’une statique des concepts (noms) de la psychanalyse à la dynamique (verbe) de l’inconscient, qui implique l’irréductibilité de l’insu et l’envol de l’invention.L’équivoque – homophonique, grammaticale et logique – a pour fonction de mettre en mouvement les voies de l’inconscient : non-savoir radical de l’Autre et invention à partir du rien.

Psychoanalysis is revealed through a multitude of titles and nouns: the unconscious, love, the imaginary, the symbolic, the real, etc.; it functions however in the verb and the movement hidden behind and within these nouns.The title of Lacan’s seminar XXIV is an indication of what the seminar itself proposes: to pass from the static of psychoanalytic concepts (nouns) to the dynamic (verb) of the unconscious, which implies the irreducibility of the unknown and the wings of invention.The equivocal – homophonic, grammatical and logical – sets in movement the ways of the unconscious: radical non-knowledge of the Other and invention from nothing.
