In this clinical article, the author gives an account of what two people having met up on a dating website had to say about their relationship that was deprived of the time needed for the encounter to develop into what is commonly known as a couple. She shows the effects on how the different timeframes experienced by each of them interrelate: the short time of the encounter, lack of time to prepare for married and family life and the time frozen in adolescence for one of the members of the couple. These setbacks hinder a group reverie as conducive to the development of thought and verbal elaboration during therapy.
