‪The text seeks to clarify confusions about the synthesis between “research” and “creation”. The aim is to elucidate how the current notion of artist-researcher distinguishes itself from other figures of artists who, throughout the history of art, have carried out research as part of their creative processes. . The second part maps the territory of photographic practice as artistic research. These two moments aim to carry out propaedeutic work – critical and clinical, which serves to analyze and evaluate with more precision photographic projects that meet the requirements of the performative research paradigm.‪

Le texte cherche à clarifier les confusions à propos de la synthèse entre « recherche » et « création ». Il s’agit d’élucider en quoi la notion actuelle d’artiste-chercheur se distingue des autres figures d’artistes qui, tout au long de l’histoire de l’art, ont mené des recherches dans le cadre de leurs processus créatifs. La seconde partie cartographie le territoire de la pratique photographique en tant que recherche artistique. Ces deux moments visent à réaliser un travail propédeutique – critique et clinique, qui sert à analyser et évaluer avec plus de précision les projets photographiques qui répondent aux exigences du paradigme performatif de recherche.
