La guerre de Côte d’Ivoire, présentée à ses débuts comme une affaire « ivoiro-ivoirienne », est devenue une crise régionale où sont impliqués certains pays limitrophes. Le Burkina Faso occupe dans cet écheveau une place centrale. Cet article vise à éclaircir la responsabilité du régime burkinabè dans cette crise et à évaluer les effets en retour de celle-ci sur la situation politique du « pays des hommes intègres ». Il montre que ce conflit procure d’importants effets d’aubaine au président Compaoré.

This article attempts to clarify the responsibility of the Burkina Faso government in the crisis and evaluates the boomerang effects on the political situation in the "country of honest men". The authors show that the conflict has significant windfall effects for President Compaoré.
