À partir d’observations cliniques, nous nous interrogeons sur ce que nous montrent certains enfants porteurs de handicap moteur diagnostiqué en période périnatale, et leur famille. La complexité du lien est mise en perspective avec le traumatisme que peuvent représenter l’annonce du handicap et les difficultés de séparation/individuation chez ces enfants et leurs parents. Les champs du développement perceptif, de la sensorialité et du pulsionnel sont également abordés à la faveur de l’accès de ces jeunes à leur subjectivité. Le corps, le psychisme et la parole se lient. Le travail thérapeutique et pluridisciplinaire par leur contenance et leur fonction tierce pourraient étayer ces processus de parentalité et de subjectivation.

Based on clinical observations, we examine what some children with a motor disability diagnosed during the perinatal period and their families show us. The complexity of the link is put into perspective with the trauma that the announcement of the disability can represent and the difficulties of separation/individuation for these children and their parents. The fields of perceptive development, sensoriality, and impulsiveness are also addressed in the light of these young people’s access to their subjectivity. The body, the psyche, and speech are linked. Therapeutic and multidisciplinary work, through their containment and third-party function, could support these processes of parenthood and subjectivation.
