Présentation d’une petite construction récemment fouillée et située devant l’entrée sud-ouest du forum de Bavay : analyse de la topographie (un carrefour marqué par une fontaine), analyse de l’inscription en l’honneur de Jupiter Capitolin et du Génie d’Auguste, de la présence d’un autel antérieur à l’installation du premier forum, hypothèse de la présence d’une favissa et d’un petit sanctuaire de carrefour, d’un type connu par ailleurs.

A Crossroads Sanctuary in the south of the Forum ?Presentation of a recently excavated small construction situated in from of the south-west entrance of the Bavay forum : analysis of the topography (a crossroads marked by a fountain), analysis of the inscription dedicated to Jupiter Capitoline and the Genius of Augustus, of the presence of an altar before the development of the first forum, assumption of the presence of a favissa and of a small crossroads sanctuary, of a type already documented elsewhere.
