Is it the task of “rightful reason” to “demonstate the foundations of faith?”By outlining the thinking of Dubarle and Schaeffler about the relationship between philosophy and theology, or rather, about the interest of a philosophical exercise for theology, the article defends the thesis that seeking philosophical foundations for theology is the result of a naturalisation of religious faith, and a confusion between faith and knowledge.
