In this second paper, the writer presents the use of shadow play in a day hospital for children, and shows how what he calls “work on laughter,” then the sharing of magic-sexual myths??”also inextricably rites??”will enable the individual fantasy to be accessed through acts shared with others. These two dimensions bring together the body of the spectator and that of the actor in the acts, thus enabling mental representation. A counterbalance on the theory of mind through shadow play concludes this workshop.
