This article attempts to assess the impact of revolving doors on the development of public policy. Taking the post-2008 financial transactions’ transparency reform as a case study, it is investigating potential links between the career paths of the public officials involved and the outcome of their legislative work. It is based on tracing a specific legislative procedure including through notes of meetings between public officials and interest representatives, on a biographical data base of involved agents and on interviews with some of them.
