The soliloquys of cancer - 2015.

In this first-person narrative, he or she speaks about his or her cancer. He or she has cancer. He or she is in pain and tells us about his or her illness, his or her sick life, his or her tale about his or her illness. Why? Why me? When does it end? Will it end someday? Am I going to die, going to live, how, how long . . . ? These soliloquies—which may be considered drivel since they recur so often in patients’ speech—are poignant due to the level of truth, distress, confusion, but also brilliance and gentleness contained within them. You may, perhaps, have already heard them speak.
