The EPIPAGE-2 cohort included children born in France in 2011, between 22 and 34 weeks of gestation. Follow-up was conducted at ages 2 and 5. The data from this cohort will enable us to identify preventive avenues to improve outcomes for these children, and to inform the choice of tools to be used to facilitate follow-up for the greatest number. Data on the impact of prematurity on parents highlight the need to consider prevention strategies for them as well.
