Through a clinical example, the authors applied themselves to show how the appearance of dreams during a family therapy permitted a deep modification of the patient’s functioning. These narrations, worked in group, permitted to a common set of themes to be expressed progressively through the associations of each one, meanwhile they were hindered so far by the mecanisms of rationalization and isolation.
