The author speaks of the importance of bisexuality, in a sense somewhat different from Freud. She says the importance of the integration of bisexuality. She speaks of the impossibility of integrating bisexuality which characterizes the transsexuals, who repudiate their body, their body’s sex, which they oppose to their gender. Their suffering, whatever its origin is, starts at the beginning of their life. It is difficult to cure it. They ask for a hormonal and surgical sex reassignment, in spite of its illusion, and rarely a psychoanalytic approach.
