This article presents the results of a study on the monitoring practices of students enrolled in an Information-Communication Sciences degree program at the University of Lorraine (France). We explore students’ relationship to information monitoring both in academic and private spheres. Students’ monitoring practices evolve in relation to the monitoring tools considered in classwork and available online.
