L’auteur propose une réflexion éthique concernant la prescription des neuroleptiques pour des sujets atteints de maladie d’Alzheimer, interrogeant le fait que ces traitements pourraient avant tout être mis en place pour répondre à la souffrance des différents acteurs de l’institution. En suivant les recommandations des autorités de santé publique, l’auteur promeut la prise en charge non médicamenteuse des troubles du comportement, notamment par le travail autour de la sensorialisation de l’environnement. Following the public health authorities’ recommendations, the author promotes non medical treatments of behavioral disorders, in particular the work around the sensorialisation of the environment.
