RésuméÀ l’hiver 1939, la guerre d’Espagne qui, depuis l’été 1936, oppose franquistes et républicains, est sur le point de prendre fin. Fuyant l’avancée des armées de Franco, des milliers d’Espagnols franchissent les Pyrénées pour chercher refuge dans le département des Pyrénées-Orientales. Les hommes seront internés dans des camps, les femmes, les enfants et les vieillards dans des « refuges ». Au cours des années 2000, passant, en quelque façon, des pères aux fils, la mémoire de cet exode subit des inflexions, subtiles mais importantes, dont on analyse ici les ressorts et les conséquences. The Descendants of Spanish Refugees in FranceIn the winter of 1939, the Spanish Civil War, which had brought into conflict since the summer of 1936 Republicans and the supporters of Franco, is coming to an end. Fleeing the advance of Franco’s army, thousands of Spaniards cross the Pyrenees seeking refuge in the department of the Pyrénées-Orientales. The men will be interned in camps, the women, children and elderly in “shelters”. As of the years 2000, transmitted from father to son, the memory of this Exodus undergoes subtle but important changes, the reasons and effects of which are analysed here. In dieser Zeit flohen tausende Spanier vor den Truppen Francos über die Pyrénéen in das französische Departement Pyrénées-Orientales. Die Männer wurden in Lagern, die Frauen, Kinder und Alten in anderen „Zufluchtsorten“ interniert. Die Erinnerung daran, die nun von den Vätern auf ihre Söhne übergegangen ist, erfährt heute einen subtilen, aber wichtigen Wendepunkt, der hier erläutert werden soll.
