Following a year of regular unprotected intercourse with his partner without achieving pregnancy, Mr. L. turned to his general practitioner. A semen analysis was carried out and no spermatozoa were found. After being referred to a male infertility specialist, the patient underwent a second test and a comprehensive assessment of his azoospermia. The azoospermia was confirmed and the genetic investigation revealed aneuploidy.
