This article retraces the stages which have marked the history of the scoring sheets for the T.A.T. test from its creation by V. and S. Shentoub in 1958 until the present, the latest version dating from July 2001. Through the presentation of different forms of the score sheet, the author emphasizes the necessary and permanent intrication between advances in theoretico-clinical research and the evolution of the methodological tool which has become indispensable to practitioners using the T.A.T.
