To join the armed forces is to make a commitment to serve France. It is a courageous and demanding commitment, which in return requires the Republic to respond to the needs of its military personnel. It is in this spirit that a number of political decisions have been taken, including the inauguration of the family support plan ( Plan famille) and, more recently, in the military planning law for the years 2019 to 2025.
