The goal of this paper is to provide an exploratory analysis of uberization’s economic issues. In line with Coase (1937), we refer to cost transaction theory to highlight how new technologies can transform organizations. What are the consequences of new technologies on the labor market, wage contracts, and way of life? What are the consequences of these new services on the optimization of a firm’s structure and its organization? How to characterize Uber’s economic model?
