Commentary on an Article by Michael Walton - 2008.

An anthropological approach opens up new horizons, as it does not claim to interpret human actions but rather describes them in order to various elements involved in collective action. This enables Michael Walton to go beyond the distinction between positive and normative analyses. Individual actions may thus seem irrational or counter-productive, but they make sense to the anthropologist, whose discipline involves the study of cultural differences.
